It probably shouldn't come as much of a surprise considering Pink (touring in Phoenix at US Airways Center in February) has never had one of her album's sell less than a million units/copies, but Pink's 'The Truth About Love' album has now achieved platinum status for selling over one million units in the U.S.

Released in the U.S. in mid-September, the album has already became one of her fastest-selling works of art to date and has been selected by Boston.com as one of the best albums of 2012

Few current hitmakers know themselves as well as Pink. She traffics in the radio-ready, yet always manages — with the help of key collaborators like Butch Walker, Max Martin, Dan Wilson, and Greg Kurstin — to locate the honest emotions at the core of her hard candy pop. From lighthearted musings to pitch-black despair, from bubblegum-grunge to acoustic balladry, Pink knows her “Truth.”

In fact, the album continues to sell extremely well across the globe -- as evidenced by surpassing the 5x platinum mark in Australia after just 12 weeks of being released.

Debuting on the Billboard 200 at the #1 spot with over 281,000 copies sold in its first week, 'The Truth About Love' has yielded hits such as ‘Blow Me (One Last Kiss)’ which climbed to #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 while 'Try' is steadily rising at #16.
