Black Sabbath will appear in the season finale of “CSI,” airing at 10 p.m. EDT Wednesday, May 15, CBS announced.

“When we first heard that Black Sabbath was interested in premiering a song on CSI from their first studio album in 35 years, we were all really excited," executive producer Don McGill said in a statement. "So many of us are longtime fans. And seeing as the album is titled 13 and this is the finale of CSI's Season 13, it seemed like the perfect match. We couldn't be more thrilled."

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees (Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler) will premiere their new single “End of the Beginning” with a performance during the episode.

They’ll also share a scene with Ted Danson as D.B. Russell and Marc Vann as Conrad Ecklie, who are investigating a trail of murders parallel to the sins in “Dante’s Inferno.”

“End of the Beginning” is the first single from “13,” to be released June 11. It’s Black Sabbath’s first studio album since 1978’s “Never Say Die!”

Here's a behind the scenes look at their appearance on the show.
